Import/export Logistics and Administrative Assistant

Michaud Export is looking for a  import/export Logistics and Administrative Assistant to intend a cross-disciplinary job inside the logitics department.

Tasks :

  •  Supply Logistics Assistant

- Overseas suppliers order management from the purchase order to the delivery in our warehouses – suppliers relationship (logistics, quality,…)
- Transport management

  • Shipping Logistics Assistant

- Intra-group suppliers : Order management for the direct departures from our factories to the final customer delivery
- Customers order management
- Realization and monitoring of documentary letters of credit for abroad
- Transport management

  •  Various tasks

- Customers consultations management for the products purchased out of France and out of the Group
- Occasional phone reception

Required skills :
- Level BAC+2 in logistics and supply chain or the equivalent
- Knowledge in documentary letters of credit, incoterms and customs formalities are desirable
- Operational level in English (verbal & written)
- Computer knowledge (Office Pack & SAGE)

Required experience :
- Desired 2 years of experience but beginners accepted if solid logistics and administrative bases

Wage : to define

Starting date : the 5th of March 2018
Contract type : Fixed-term contract of 7 months with possibility of a permanent contract after

Sales Assistant

Regarding its development, MICHAUD Export is also looking for a sales assistant. 


- Answer routine customer and prospect enquiries
- Participate in tender offer files
- Follow-up current offers
- Commercially assist the area sales manager

Required skills:

- Level BAC+2 type sales assistant
- Fluent english (speaking + writting)
- A 2nd language is an asset

Required experience:
- 2 years of experience in the field
